Kansas City 'Cross

PBjr and I made the trip down to KC to visit our brothers and sisters from the TREK Store Kansas City. The race course was excellent with technical corners, a bit of sand and a dirt run-up. TREK/VW Midwest rider Bill Stolte won the men's 1,2,3 category. Lincolnite Troy Krause (TREK KC) won the masters event with Trek/Highgear sponsored Midwest Wheelmasters rider Sydney Brown winning the women's. All in all a great day of racing.

The Legend is Coming...

We've been searching the globe for a new brand of mountain bikes to compliment Fisher and Trek's already stacked line of off-road machines. Actually we didn't find a new brand at all. We found an original. Allow us to introduce Yeti Cycles as the newest member of the Trek Store family. Yeti has as deep a tradition in mountain biking as any company around and we welcome them with open arms. John Tomac, Juliana Furtado, Missy Giove, Myles Rockwell, Jimmy Deation and many others got their start racing for John Parkers Durango based company. Now located on the front range in Golden, Colorado, they make some of the best bikes in the world. Yeti's history section on their website might still be under construction, but click on the photo below to take a tour of the factory.

Bikes will be in the store soon. We'll keep you posted.
