The wait is over

(sorry for the kinda blurry images. we're excited)

Midwest Cycling Community clothing is here, on the shelves and ready to go. If you pre-ordered your clothing at the Midtown store, we have it pulled aside and waiting for you.

If you pre-ordered your clothing at club night earlier this spring, you'll need to go to the Papillion store to pick up your goods.

See you on the road (or trail)!

Cervelo has arrived

Want to go carbon but don't want to go with a Madone? How about a Cervelo? We're proud to offer the full Cervelo line at the Trek Store (Midtown). They've been available in our Papillion store for years, but now you can get it here, too.

This weekend only, customers who purchase a Cervelo will get 10% off accessories. Clothes, tools, shoes, pedals -- whatever you like (but not another bike).

And even if you're not in the market for a new ride, stop in and check 'em out!

Items of note

1. Wednesday Worlds for tonight (4/14) are on as of 1 p.m. If the weather gets sketchy, we'll post it here, on Facebook and on Twitter.

2. Starting next week (4/21), we're going to open at noon on Wednesdays. All of the other hours will remain unchanged.

3. Midwest Cycling Community apparel should be arriving soon. The delay is due to something far beyond our control, so yeah -- we're frustrated, too. Thanks for being patient.

That long? Already?

Just a little more than a year ago, I wandered into the shop looking for gainful (read: any) employment.

Time has flown, and lots has changed since then. But not everything. For example, there are a few bikes that were here before I was ... and they're still here. They need to go home with someone, and soon.

So here's the deal: Starting right this second and continuing until they're gone, bikes that have been here longer than me are 15% off.
  • Mirraco Icon Intro BMX (white, chocolate/beige): Was $319.99, Now $271.99
  • Fisher Wingra (15, 22.5): Was $539.99, Now $458.99
  • Fisher Monona (15, 17.5, 22.5): Was $639.99, Now $543.99
  • Fisher Tarpon (17.5, 19): Was $439.99, Now $373.99
  • Trek 6000 Disc (19.5): Was $879.99, Now $747.99
  • Fisher Marlin GS (17.5): Was $709.99, Now $603.49
  • Fisher Wahoo (15.5, 21): Was $549.99, Now $467.49
They'll be here until they're not -- don't miss out!

One hot ride

Most times, bikes look way better in person than they do on a computer screen. When this one was ordered, we weren't quite sure about the setup. Bright green, bright blue? Flames? Yikes.

As soon as we pulled it out of the box, we knew it was going to look great. Enjoy the photos below.

The flames are amazing! The drop-shadow detailing was unexpected and carries an almost 3-D feel.

Here's where the paint really jumps. The metallic blue really comes out in the sunshine. All told, it's a really, really cool bike.

Want your own Project One Madone? Come see us -- we're the nation's number one Trek Project One dealer. Nobody sends more custom Madones out the door than we do.
