New Gear and George in yellow

George Hincapie took a late in the day time bonus sprint to move into yellow.

The new Madone 6.9 SSL, oh this looks quite nice. The first frame made of ture aerospace/military grade high modulus carbon fiber. This is the first sub 900 gram flat top tube frame. A flat top tube means shorter lighter seatpost. This model is Yaroslav Popovych's climbing machine. It's so light the mechanices will have to bolt lead weights onto the downtube so the bike meets the UCI's minimum weight requirement!

Giro also launched it's new Ionos helmet which can be seen on the melons of all the Discovery team riders. Posted by Picasa
